        "content": "<p>REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKKAH \u2013 The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has\nannounced the opening of registration for domestic pilgrims to perform\nthe Hajj this year, starting on Monday, 23rd February 2026, or 6th\nRamadan 1447 Hijri. Registration for package bookings will begin on 4th\nMarch 2026, or 15th Ramadan 1447 Hijri.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi citizens and expatriates with valid residency permits who wish\nto perform the Hajj from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can apply\nthrough the Nusuk application and official website (nusuk.sa).<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah noted that priority during this phase,\nwhich will last until the end of Shawwal, will be given to individuals\nwho have not previously performed the Hajj. If quotas are still\navailable, bookings will be opened to other eligible applicants, as\nquoted by Saudi Gazette on Wednesday, 25th February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be at least 15 years old and meet approved health\nrequirements. For expatriates, a valid residency permit is required,\nwith priority given to those whose residency permits were issued more\nthan one Gregorian calendar year prior.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry emphasised that arrangements are made exclusively\nthrough licensed companies registered on the Nusuk platform. Applicants\nmust register personally by creating an account, completing information,\nverifying eligibility, selecting a package, and paying fees through the\nSADAD system to obtain a Hajj permit.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry urges applicants to register promptly through the Nusuk\napplication or official website.
