        "content": "<p>Satya Wacana in lawsuit<\/p>\n<p>SALATIGA, Central Java: Satya Wacana Christian University,<br>\nbarely over internal conflicts, has been hit with a Rp 365<br>\nmillion ($160,000) lawsuit by 15 villagers alleging that the<br>\ncollege's foundation took their land.<\/p>\n<p>In a petition filed at the Ungaran district court in Semarang,<br>\nthe Karanganyar villagers said that the college has occupied<br>\ntheir land, resulting in a Rp 365 million loss in earnings since<br>\n1970.<\/p>\n<p>The university's rector John JOI Ihalauw welcomed the<br>\nvillagers' decision to settle the matter in court.<\/p>\n<p>However, he insisted that the foundation had legally bought<br>\nthe land and is prepared to prove it in court.
