        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The North Seribu Islands sub-district Civil\nService Police Unit (Satpol PP) is involving residents in efforts to\nmitigate public order disturbances. It held a public-participation-based\nmitigation awareness session at the Pulau Kelapa urban village office in\nNorth Seribu Islands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe session is a way to improve public understanding and awareness\nof potential public order disturbances in their area,\u201d Edi Syahrudi,\nhead of the North Seribu Islands Satpol PP task force, said in Jakarta\non Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He said prevention would be more effective with public\nparticipation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that the Community Protection Unit (Satlinmas), the Early\nAwareness Community Forum (FKDM), and neighbourhood and community\nassociation leaders can continue working with Satpol PP to share\ninformation, raise awareness and help maintain order in their respective\ncommunities,\u201d Edi said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that cooperation between officers and residents was expected\nto strengthen efforts to mitigate public order disturbances and help\ncreate a safe and stable environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will help create a safe, comfortable environment that supports\nharmonious community life,\u201d Edi said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the session involved Satlinmas, FKDM, neighbourhood and\ncommunity association leaders, and representatives of the Pulau Kelapa\nurban village administration.<\/p>\n<p>Pulau Kelapa Urban Village Head Muhammad Adriansyah said public\ninvolvement was an important factor in maintaining security and order in\nthe community.<\/p>\n<p>He said prevention required joint efforts and coordination between\ngovernment officials and all sections of the community. Residents\u2019\nactive role was essential to detecting potential public order\ndisturbances at an early stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith good communication and coordination, various potential problems\ncan be anticipated so the area remains safe, orderly and stable,\u201d Edi\nsaid.<\/p>",
