        "content": "<p>Satelindo service<\/p>\n<p>As GSM Satelindo subscriber No. 46194 I have been experiencing<br>\nbad service. In May my cellular phone was disconnected by<br>\nSatelindo. Upon inquiry, its customer service told me that I had<br>\nnot paid my January 1996 telephone bill. I informed them that I<br>\nhad paid that bill against their receipt No. 00800-014874. Rather<br>\nsurprisingly, Satelindo did not have a record of all released<br>\nbills and receipts. So, I had to fax them the document. Less than<br>\n30 minutes afterwards my phone was operational again.<\/p>\n<p>The July bill mentioned a reconnection fee. Again I called<br>\ncustomer service. They explained that since the telephone had<br>\nbeen disconnected, it needed reconnecting and there was a charge<br>\nattached, notwithstanding the fact that the mistake was with<br>\nSatelindo. The customer service officer also said that should I<br>\nstill feel dissatisfied I could write a letter to Satelindo.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time there was a reading on my phone that I had to<br>\npay the January bill within one week, otherwise it would be<br>\ndisconnected. I am ready for this.<\/p>\n<p>In the era of global competition of cellular phone operators,<br>\nI wonder if there is any benefit in subscribing to GSM Satelindo<br>\nwith services as described above.<\/p>\n<p>Satelindo&apos;s customer service has been unable to solve the<br>\nabove problem since May. It is perhaps time for its board to<br>\nassist in coming to grips with the problem and to improve on its<br>\nservices.<\/p>\n<p>Name and address<\/p>\n<p>known to the Editor<\/p>",
