        "content": "<p>Samsung is expected to utilise two chipset options, namely Snapdragon\nand Exynos, for the Galaxy S27 Ultra across different sales regions.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report from GSM Arena on Wednesday (2\/9) local time,\nSamsung was previously rumoured to plan the exclusive use of the\nSnapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. However, internal\ntesting has shown promising performance, leading the company to consider\nusing the Exynos 2700 as an alternative for the flagship smartphone.<\/p>\n<p>Units within Samsung MX and LSI are reportedly coordinating to\ndevelop a Galaxy S27 Ultra motherboard that utilises the Exynos chipset\nwhile ensuring a stable supply of the processor. If this plan is\nrealised, the Galaxy S27 Ultra will likely follow a regional chipset\nstrategy similar to other members of the Galaxy S27 series.<\/p>\n<p>In previous generations, Samsung did not utilise Exynos for the Ultra\nmodel. The Galaxy S22 Ultra, released in 2022, was the last Galaxy S\nUltra series to be powered by an Exynos chipset.<\/p>\n<p>The Exynos 2700 is rumoured to be produced using Samsung\u2019s SF2P 2nm\nfabrication technology. This technology is claimed to be capable of\nreducing power consumption by up to 26 per cent while increasing clock\nspeeds by 15 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the chipset, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is also expected to undergo\nseveral design changes, including modifications to the camera module.\nNevertheless, the overall dimensions of the phone are said to remain\nclose to those of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung is also rumoured to be increasing the battery capacity of the\nGalaxy S27 Ultra, although it is unlikely to reach the 7,000mAh capacity\nthat was previously rumoured.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of the camera, Samsung is expected to remove the 10MP\ntelephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capability. In its place, the\nexisting 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom will receive an\nupgrade.<\/p>",
