Java PASI<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): West Java's Indonesian Amateur Athletics<br>\nAssociation (PASI) received on Sunday a contribution worth Rp 10<br>\nmillion (US$1,150) from South Korean PT Samsung Electronics<br>\nIndonesia (SEIN) to develop local athletes.<\/p>\n<p>The contribution consisted of two electronic score boards and<br>\nmoney presented by SEIN director Kim Suh Kyum to the West Java<br>\nassociation's secretary, Rahmat.<\/p>\n<p>\"We expect the contribution will motivate our athletes to<br>\nfurther improve their performance,\" Rahmat said.<\/p>\n<p>The handover was held prior to the Samsung 5.6 K Fun Run,<br>\nwhich attracted 5,228 participants in three categories: families<br>\nwith children aged under 12, families with over-12 children and<br>\nindividual.<\/p>\n<p>\"These events are part of our continuous efforts, which<br>\nstarted three years ago, to support Indonesian sports,\" said Kim.<br>\n(025)<\/p>",
