He suspects that Tokopedia, the e-commerce company now owned by\nTikTok Pte Ltd, has laid off 90 per cent of its employees. Iqbal also\nsuspects that TikTok carried out the layoffs after acquiring Tokopedia\nand managing it from its office in China. If these suspicions are\nconfirmed, he plans to sue TikTok under the International Labour\nOrganization (ILO) Convention No.\u00a0193 concerning decent work in the\nplatform economy, including decent work for digital and gig workers.\n\u201cTomorrow at 10 a.m., we will go to the TikTok office.
