Safe stolen in Bali<\/p>\n
DENPASAR, Bali: A safe containing cash in several currencies
\namounting to Rp 69 million (US$6,900) was stolen in a burglary
\nfrom the office of the trading firm Bali Holding Company here.<\/p>\n
According to the company's warehouse chief Putu Manda, 21, the
\noffice was burglarized at around 2 p.m. Monday<\/p>\n
\"When I left the office, I made sure all the doors and the
\nfront gate were locked. But when I returned several hours later,
\nI found the lock on the gate broken,\" he said, adding that he was
\nthe only person guarding the office.<\/p>\n
When he opened the gate, he explained, he saw an unidentified
\nblue Kijang van in the parking lot. Suddenly, two men jumped him,
\ndragged him inside the building and tied him up.<\/p>\n
\"There were around eight people inside and they carried the
\nsafe out,\" Putu said.<\/p>\n
Denpasar Police chief Adj. Comr. Awang Joko Rumitro said that
\nhis men were still trying to trace the blue van.(zen)<\/p>",
