MAGELANG \u2013 The owner of HS cigarettes, Muhammad Suryo, has delivered\ngood news to his thousands of employees. This year, he will send 150\nemployees to perform Umrah in the holy land.<\/p>\n
Suryo conveyed this during his visit to the HS cigarette factory in\nMuntilan, Magelang, on Friday (27\/3\/2026). The Umrah reward is given by\nSuryo as a form of gratitude because he survived a accident mishap that\nbefell him.<\/p>\n
Muhammad Suryo experienced an accident in Kulonprogo, DIY, on Sunday\n(1\/3\/2026). In the incident, Suryo was once critical and received\nintensive care in hospital, while his wife, Anis Syarifah, passed\naway.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a form of my gratitude and thanks for the prayers and\nsupport from all of you. You are the motivators and what makes me strong\nin facing this trial. I ask you to continue praying for my wife so that\nshe has a good end,\u201d said Suryo while sobbing.<\/p>\n
The programme of sending employees on Umrah has been carried out by\nSuryo every year. However, this time the number of employees sent on\nUmrah is more than in previous years.<\/p>\n
On that occasion, Suryo also provided facilities in the form of\nspecial accommodation or mess for disabled employees working in his\ncompany. Because many disabled employees come from outside Jogja and\nMagelang.<\/p>\n
Currently, there are already 21 disabled employees working at the HS\ncigarette factory. Suryo emphasised that he will continue to accept\ndisabled employees at his factory without any requirements.<\/p>\n

The same sentiment was expressed by Tika, a disabled employee from\nTemanggung. Tika, along with dozens of disabled employees working at HS,\nis so grateful that Suryo is healthy again and can be active.<\/p>\n
