Ryan, Happy are RI's best bowlers<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Two bowlers from the Permata Bowling Club, Ryan
\nLeonard Lalisang and Happy Soediono, were recognized as the best
\nmen's and women's bowlers respectively at the First Indonesia
\nBowling Awards ceremony last Friday.<\/p>\n
The awards, organized by sports journalists, had a total of
\neight categories. Permata BC and its bowlers were honored in five
\nout of eight of these categories, as reported by Antara news
\nagency.<\/p>\n
Permata BC was declared the best bowling club, beating out FQ
\nBowling Club and Tiga Roda BC.<\/p>\n
The fourth title earned by Permata BC was for best bowling
\ntrio, which was made up of Ran, Happy and Willem Wijaya. The
\nfifth award the club received was for the most promising bowler,
\nSharon Adelina, who edged out Ivana Hanjaya of Millennium BC.<\/p>\n
David Paruhun Sitorus was named the best coach above the other
\nnominees of Indra Gondokusumo, Jimmy Lim and Poppy Tambis.
\nSitorus is currently preparing the Indonesian team for the Kuala
\nLumpur 2001 Southeast Asian Games.<\/p>\n
In the award for favorite bowler, Putty Armein defeated
\nsibling Haqi. Galeria Kosmic Kodel Bowling of Jakarta was named
\nthe best bowling lanes over Jaya Ancol Bowling Lanes in Jakarta
