        "content": "<p>Ryamizard calls for unity in karate<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Ryamizard Ryacudu, the new chairman of the Indonesian<br>\nKarate-Do Institute (Inkai), pleaded with karatekas to put their<br>\ndifferences behind them and to work together for a better future.<\/p>\n<p>\"If we can't work together, we should all forget about it and<br>\ngo about our own business,\" the three-star Army general said in a<br>\nspeech during the official unveiling of the new Inka board at the<br>\nCrowne Hotel in Central Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Ryamizard, who is chief of the Army Strategic Reserves Command<br>\n(Kostrad), was referring to the recent internal conflict in the<br>\norganization, which prompted the establishment of a breakaway<br>\nIndonesian Traditional Karate-Do Federation (FKTI), led by Sabet<br>\nMuchsin, in 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Succeeding Adam Damiri, Ryamizard was elected the chairman at<br>\nInkai's national congress in Palembang, South Sumatra, last<br>\nNovember.
