JAKARTA - The Russian Ambassador to Indonesia, Sergei Tolchenov,\nconveyed Eid al-Fitr greetings to Muslims in Indonesia and around the\nworld.<\/p>\n
In his message, he emphasised the importance of values such as\nsolidarity, compassion, and strengthening inter-nation relations.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Jakarta, I\nextend warm greetings to all Muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr in\nIndonesia and throughout the world,\u201d said Tolchenov in his statement on\nSunday (22\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n
He noted that the month of Ramadan is a time dedicated to\nself-reflection, enhancing social awareness, and reinforcing spiritual\nvalues.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Tolchenov assessed that the Eid al-Fitr celebration\nholds not only religious significance but also social meaning.<\/p>\n
This moment is seen as capable of tightening family and community\nrelations, while also reminding of the importance of mutual respect amid\ndiversity.<\/p>\n
He also spotlighted the presence of the Muslim community in Russia,\nwhich he said numbers more than 20 million people.<\/p>\n
