        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, investortrust.id - President Director of PT ITSEC Asia Tbk\n(CYBR), Patrick Rudolf Dannacher, said the group remains optimistic\nabout its business prospects amid the rupiah\u2019s weakness against the US\ndollar. Patrick acknowledged that currency volatility is a challenge for\nmany companies in Indonesia, particularly those that still rely on\nimports of devices and technology from abroad. \u2018It is not easy for every\ncompany in Indonesia, especially if you have a lot of imports,\u2019 he told\nreporters in Jakarta on Thursday, 21 May 2026. Nevertheless, Patrick\nregards the rupiah depreciation as temporary. He believes the government\nand Bank Indonesia (BI) have taken the right steps to maintain\nmacroeconomic stability. He added, \u2018I am fairly confident that things\nwill improve from our current position going forward. I think the\nleadership of the country and the Central Bank are taking the right\nsteps for the future.\u2019 According to Patrick, the impact of currency\nfluctuations on ITSEC is relatively limited because the company invests\nand develops cybersecurity solutions domestically to a greater extent.\nThis strategy is part of strengthening national technology sovereignty.\n\u2018We have invested mostly domestically; we largely produce domestically.\nSo we are not heavily dependent on foreign exchange,\u2019 he said. ITSEC\nalso emphasises it will continue to reinforce the development of local\nproducts and sovereign-technology-based cybersecurity services. The\ncompany believes technology autonomy is a crucial factor in sustaining\nlong-term business growth amid global dynamics.<\/p>",
