Bogor Regency Regent Rudy Susmanto has reaffirmed his commitment to\naccelerating tuberculosis (TB) control efforts in Bogor Regency. This\nwill be accomplished through strengthened collaboration between the\ncentral government and regional authorities.<\/p>\n
Susmanto made these remarks whilst receiving a visit from the\nMinistry of Health and Ministry of Home Affairs aimed at promoting the\nacceleration of TB control. The visit took place at Cimandala Health\nCentre (Puskesmas) in Sukaraja on Thursday, 26 February 2026. Present at\nthe event were Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Akhmad Wiyagus, Deputy\nMinister of Health Dr Benyamin Paulus Octavianus, and officials from\nBogor Regency Government, Forkopimda (regional leadership coordination\nbody), and the District Health Service.<\/p>\n
According to Regent Rudy, the activities were held at two locations\nas part of concrete efforts to strengthen healthcare services. The first\nlocation was one of the primary health centres serving as the frontline\nof healthcare provision at the grassroots level. \u201cPuskesmas play a\ncrucial role in early detection, patient support, and ensuring TB\ntreatment compliance,\u201d said Rudy.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, the Bogor Regency Government convened all healthcare\nsector stakeholders at the Multi-Purpose Room I in the Regional\nSecretariat. The activity was attended by health centre heads, nurses,\nsub-district heads, and health volunteers who form the backbone of\nfield-level service delivery.<\/p>\n
According to Rudy, accelerating TB control has become part of his and\nDeputy Regent Ade Ruhandi\u2019s vision and mission. This vision aligns with\nthe policy direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in\nstrengthening healthcare services and controlling communicable\ndiseases.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs one of Indonesia\u2019s most populous regencies, the challenges we\nface are certainly significant. TB control cannot be addressed in\nisolation, but must be pursued through collaboration and coordination\nwith all stakeholders,\u201d said Rudy.<\/p>\n
