Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno donated a 1-ton sacrificial cow to\nresidents of RT 11 RW 07 in Gandaria Utara, Kebayoran Baru, South\nJakarta. The handover took place during Rano\u2019s visit to the Innovation\nVillage, also known as Smart Village, in the area.<\/p>\n
RT 11 head Imam Basori said residents were enthusiastic and grateful\nfor Rano\u2019s visit and support. In addition to the sacrificial cow, the\ncommunity received equipment and support for environmental innovation\ndevelopment. \u201cAlhamdulillah, the residents are extremely enthusiastic,\nwith an overwhelming response and appreciation from the Deputy Governor\ntowards our RT 11 RW 07 innovations. The community is very happy and\nfinds it highly beneficial,\u201d Imam told reporters in Gandaria, South\nJakarta, on Wednesday (27\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n
Imam stated they received a 1-ton sacrificial cow, which will be\nslaughtered and distributed to local residents and those in need.\n\u201cAlhamdulillah, a 1-ton cow has been provided for the community. It is\nhighly beneficial. After this event, we will slaughter and distribute it\nto residents, neighbours, and those in need,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In addition to the sacrificial cow, Rano praised the residents\u2019\ndigital-based environmental security innovations, including smart gates,\npanic button alarms linked to smartphones, community patrols, and GPS\ntracking. Beyond security, Imam said they plan to develop a new\ntechnology-based waste management system called \u201csmart waste\u201d, focusing\non plastic and household waste processing to create economic value for\nresidents. \u201cWe aim to at least turn waste disposal into blessings and\nprofit. We have coordinated with waste collectors and will use\ntechnology for management,\u201d he added. According to Imam, the innovation\ndevelopment will be supported by the assistance received after the\nDeputy Governor\u2019s visit.
