        "content": "<p>The Depok District Prosecutor\u2019s Office has named two suspects in a\ncorruption case involving the procurement of a rotatable log periodic\nantenna for overseas broadcasts at the Central Office of the Public\nBroadcasting Institution Radio Republik Indonesia (LPP RRI) in\nCimanggis, Depok. The Head of the New Media Technology Division for\nRRI\u2019s Overseas Broadcasting, identified by the initial W, is one of the\nsuspects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe announce that today, Wednesday, 22 July 2026, based on the\nevidence we obtained, the investigation team has named two suspects,\u201d\nsaid Head of the Special Crimes Section at the Depok Prosecutor\u2019s\nOffice, M Ihsan Pasamula, during a press conference on Wednesday\n(22\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The second suspect is M, the Director of PT Cantika Putri Mandiri.\nThe case began in November 2021, when the RRI Procurement Working Group\nmade a direct appointment for the procurement of the rotatable log\nperiodic antenna to PT CPM.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn fact, PT CPM had previously participated in the tender for this\nitem in July 2021 and was declared not meeting the qualification\nrequirements,\u201d he revealed.<\/p>\n<p>On 8 November 2021, W appointed PT CPM as the provider of goods and\nservices. On 10 November 2021, W and M signed contract agreement number\n1039\/PPK\/TMB-RRI\/2021 with a value of IDR 26,397,800,000 (26 billion)\nand a work period from 10 November 2021 to 9 March 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn its implementation, the payment for the work was made 100 per\ncent. In fact, the actual work progress was only 1.79 per cent as of 31\nDecember 2021,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in carrying out the work, PT CPM did not fulfil its\nobligations according to the contract and there were indications of\nmark-up, resulting in state financial losses.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the roles of the suspects, W allegedly directed\nspecifications towards a particular brand, approved payments\ninconsistent with work progress, and accepted work results that did not\ncomply with the contract. W, an RRI official in Depok, is suspected of\nreceiving bribes or gratuities related to the procurement.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor stated that suspect M, as the Director of PT CPM,\nacted as the provider of goods and services. M allegedly failed to carry\nout the work according to the contract, submitted payment claims\ninconsistent with work progress, and obtained unlawful profits. M is\nalso suspected of giving bribes or gratuities related to the procurement\nto the Commitment-Making Officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result of the actions of the two suspects, state financial\nlosses have been incurred, the amount of which is still being calculated\nby the BPKP of West Java Province,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>The two suspects are charged under Article 603 of the Criminal Code\nin conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by\nLaw Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 on\nthe Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 20 letter c of\nthe Criminal Code. The subsidiary charge is Article 3 in conjunction\nwith Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of\n2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 on the Eradication\nof Corruption in conjunction with Article 20 letter c of the Criminal\nCode.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently, both suspects are still cooperative, so the investigation\nteam has not yet made any arrests.
