        "content": "<p>RP envoy bomber trial resumes<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Prosecutor Suharto urged on Monday the Central<br>\nJakarta District Court to resume the trial of Abdul Jabar, the<br>\nmain suspect in the bombing of the Philippine ambassador's<br>\nresidence and two churches in Jakarta in 2000.<\/p>\n<p>In the hearing, the prosecutor told the court that the<br>\nindictment read out in the previous hearing against Jabar was in<br>\nline with the Criminal Code, and therefore the court should<br>\nresume the trial.<\/p>\n<p>Presiding Judge Pramudana adjourned the trial until June 10.<\/p>\n<p>In the indictment, Suharto accused the defendant, who turned<br>\nhimself in last January, of having planted a car bomb at the<br>\nambassador's official residence in Central Jakarta on Aug. 1,<br>\n2000.<\/p>\n<p>The blast killed security guard Sofyan Hendrawan, housemaid<br>\nSuhantin, and injured 21 others, including Ambassador Leonides T.<br>\nCaday. --JP<\/p>",
