\ndifficult to spend a Rp 25 coin as most traders are reluctant to

But I notice that many supermarkets still use the coins for
\nsmall change. Some shops prefer to use candies to replace Rp 25
\ncoins for small change. As a result of this social reluctance to
\nuse these particular coins, some people have a great number of
\nthe coins at home which remain unused. They are no more than a
\ntoy for small children.<\/p>\n

Frankly, I don't know whether or not these coins are still
\nused in the provinces outside Jakarta for daily business
\ntransactions. But just imagine how much money is idle if each
\nfamily throughout the archipelago possesses just one coin. This
\nis a great loss to the country. Yet we still have three more
\ncoins of smaller denominations -- Rp 10, Rp 5 and Rp 1. What has
\nhappened to them? This means that the value of the rupiah has
