Rp 24m stolen from official's car<\/p>\n
TANGERANG: Two unidentified men riding a RX King motorcycle
\nmanaged to make off with Rp 24 million in cash they took from an
\nofficial's car parked inside the Tangerang municipal office car
\npark on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Aap Syarifudin, an official with the Capital Investment and
\nPermit Office (LPMP) said that he had just withdrawn the money
\nfrom Bank International Indonesia on Jl. Daan Mogot at about 11
\na.m.<\/p>\n
\"I noticed two men on a motorcycle following my car from the
\nbank, but I did not suspect anything,\" he said.<\/p>\n
He parked the car inside the office car park on Jl. Satria
\nSudirman, and had lunch at the cafeteria.<\/p>\n
But when he returned to his car to take the money before going
\nto the office, he found that one of the car windows had been
\nsmashed and the money was gone.<\/p>\n
A similar incident happened last week to an employee of an
\nexpedition company who lost Rp 100 million that he had just
\nwithdrawn from the same bank. He had kept the money inside the
\ncar parked right in front of a notary office on Jl. Kisamaun when
\nit was taken.<\/p>\n
Tangerang Police said they were still investigating the
