Jakarta (ANTARA) – The public’s need for practical and easy-to-serve
food has driven UMKM entrepreneurs to continuously innovate in producing
relevant products for daily activities, such as the RoyalKueID wheat bun
business from North Jakarta, which offers buns made from wheat
ingredients.

RoyalKueID wheat buns provide products made from wheat that are
practical to prepare and suitable as a breakfast choice or snack. With
flavours adjusted to family tastes, these buns become an easy-to-enjoy
food alternative, especially for children.

Co-founder of RoyalKueID wheat buns, Yusnianti, explained that the
business started from a simple initiative that then developed into a
business opportunity.

“The idea started emerging in 2023; we produced it for our own
consumption and then dared to offer it to relatives and friends at the
end of 2023. Initially, we only opened pre-orders within our circle, and
the response was good, giving us the courage and opportunity to open our
first outlet at the end of 2024,” she said.

As the business grew, RoyalKueID wheat buns now market their products
through various channels, from offline outlets, resellers, marketplaces,
social commerce, to B2B and participation in various exhibitions. The
market reach continues to expand, not only at the local level but also
reaching inter-city and inter-island buyers.

In supporting business operations, RoyalKueID wheat buns utilise
BRI’s QRIS service to facilitate transactions with resellers, making the
payment process more practical. On the other hand, Yusnianti is also
actively improving her business management skills through the BRI
LinkUMKM platform as a means of learning and business development.

“Since opening the first outlet at the end of 2024, I realised that
to grow, I need to add knowledge. Praise be to God, we got advice from
relatives who had joined LinkUMKM BRI. From there, I started seeking
more information through various sources, including social media and
websites. I still remember, the first class I took was after Eid in
2025,” she revealed.

Through the LinkUMKM platform, BRI continues to provide a learning
and mentoring ecosystem for UMKM entrepreneurs throughout Indonesia. By
the end of 2025, LinkUMKM has been utilised by 14.98 million UMKM as an
online means to enhance business capacity, from strengthening
competencies to expanding market access.

The platform offers six main integrated features, namely UMKM Smart,
Rumah BUMN, UMKM Media, Community, Digital Showcase, and NIB Register,
supported by 750 learning modules designed to strengthen both soft and
hard skills of entrepreneurs.

On a separate occasion, BRI Corporate Secretary Dhanny stated that
UMKM development is part of BRI’s strategy in building a sustainable
people’s economy. BRI not only provides financing access but also
supports business capacity enhancement through digitalisation and
mentoring.

“UMKM development cannot be done partially but requires comprehensive
ecosystem support. BRI through LinkUMKM and various digital services
like QRIS continues to encourage business actors to improve capacity,
expand market access, and strengthen sustainable competitiveness. This
effort is part of BRI’s commitment to advancing UMKM while strengthening
the foundation of the people’s economy,” Dhanny explained.
",
