However, she was unable to provide specific details regarding the\nagenda or the key points discussed during the session between Rosan and\nBahlil.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe meeting has concluded,\u201d Dwi briefly told CNBC Indonesia when\nasked about the meeting on Wednesday (23\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>As previously reported, President Prabowo Subianto recently\ninstructed the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil\nLahadalia, to formulate development steps for 50% bioethanol-blended\nfuel (E50). This follows the successful implementation of the B50\nbiodiesel programme.<\/p>\n<p>Bahlil stated that the government has been asked to study the success\nof B50 and apply a similar approach to the formulation of the E50\nprogramme. This directive was delivered by Prabowo during the Plenary\nSession of the National Energy Council (DEN) at the Merdeka Palace,\nJakarta, on Thursday (17\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have also decided that for the long term, we will study the\nsuccess of B50. Learning from this, the President has ordered us to\nimmediately prepare similar steps to build E50,\u201d Bahlil said following\nthe DEN session, as reported via the official Instagram account of the\nMinistry of ESDM on Wednesday (23\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the development of E50 is one of the steps to\nencourage the availability of domestic fuel, aligning with the high\nnational consumption of fuel.<\/p>\n<p>Bahlil noted that national diesel consumption reaches approximately\n39 million kilolitres (KL) per year, while petrol consumption ranges\nbetween 39 million and 40 million KL per year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know our fuel consumption; diesel is 39 million KL per year and\npetrol is nearly 39-40 million. This is a form of encouraging domestic\nfuel availability,\u201d said Bahlil.<\/p>",
