        "content": "<p>Investment and Downstreaming Minister\/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani has\nemphasised that PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI) was not designed\nfrom the outset to become a sole exporter controlling all commodities\nfor its own export purposes. Rosan said DSI can still function as an\nexporter or intermediary in commodity trading. However, DSI\u2019s presence\nwill not alter the existing export contract mechanisms. \u201cIf you look at\nthe BP itself, it is open for us to become an exporter, but that does\nnot mean a sole exporter. We can be an intermediary, we can evaluate, we\ncan be an intermediary, we can be an exporter,\u201d Rosan said during a\npress conference on the RAPBN and Financial Note for the 2027 fiscal\nyear at the DJP office on Friday (14\/8). According to him, all ongoing\ntransactions and contracts will continue to be respected. Exporters can\nalso still conduct transactions directly with sellers or buyers. Rosan\nexplained that one of DSI\u2019s future functions relates to commodity price\nmonitoring. The government will assess whether transaction prices are at\nlevels consistent with the index. \u201cWhere this has been occurring below\nthe index, we will certainly issue an alert and inform that the price is\nnot appropriate,\u201d he said.
