        "content": "<p>Public intellectual Rocky Gerung revealed his conversation with\nIndonesian President Prabowo Subianto during the inauguration of\nofficials at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday afternoon (27\/4). \u201cI\nshook hands with Mr Prabowo earlier, and he\u2019s an old discussion partner\nof mine. He said, \u2018Oh, Mr Rocky, thank you for coming,\u2019 and \u2018It turns\nout Mr Rocky is still a dissident.\u2019 But you could see from his face it\nwas in jest, \u2018Indeed, I am a dissident\u2019\u2026,\u201d Rocky told reporters in the\nPresidential Palace grounds in Jakarta. Quoting the Great Dictionary of\nthe Indonesian Language (KBBI), the term \u2018dissident\u2019 has two meanings.\nFirst, a person who disagrees with someone or a group\u2019s opinion. Second,\na person who refuses to obey their government because they consider it\nillegitimate (erroneous, etc.); a rebel. Rocky said his attendance at\ntoday\u2019s inauguration was as a representative of civil society. He\npledged to continue monitoring the performance of the Prabowo-Gibran\nRakabuming Raka government cabinet, including labour figure Jumhur\nHidayat, who was newly appointed as Minister of Environment. \u201cYes, as a\ncivil society representative, invited to witness, and also to mark that\nthe cabinet will be effective with figures who are former inmates,\u201d\nRocky said. \u201cJumhur Hidayat is a former prisoner.
