He emphasised that this is not a collective responsibility but an\nethical responsibility of each member. Consequently, he noted, the\nprimary responsibility is the ability to maintain distance from\nconcrete, day-to-day events.<\/p>\n
\u201cThus, this council is not meant to serve daily concrete questions;\nit requires contemplation, evaluation, and even the ability to envision\nthe future of the republic,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n
