Robbers of general's house nabbed<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Five out of nine suspected robbers were
\narrested by the East Jakarta police two hours after a robbery of
\na general's house in Ciracas early Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
According to East Jakarta police chief Lt. Col. Miyanto, one
\nof the criminals still at large is believed to have been shot by
\na member of the Ciracas police.<\/p>\n
The detained suspects have been identified as Sanuri,
\nSulaiman, Maman, M. Yusuf and Yus.<\/p>\n
The robbery at the resident of Brig. Gen. Dahlan Effendi on
\nJl. Raya Bambu Apus Kav. G-1 in Cipayung, Ciracas, took place
\naround 3:15 a.m. Police patrolmen immediately came to the site
\nafter receiving information about the robbery.<\/p>\n
\"After informing all on-duty units, the police officers
\nbegan to blockade roads to net the suspects,\" Miyanto said.<\/p>\n
About two hours later, one of the units found a minibus with
\nnine people inside. Police raided the bus and arrested five,
\nwhile four managed to escape.<\/p>\n
Based on the report, Miyanto was informed that one of the
\nfleeing four was shot but still able to run away. (bsr)<\/p>",
