Putranto, said<br>\nthat after announcing the imposition of roaming fees in April,<br>\nthe company had received many protests from customers who<br>\ndemanded continued free-roaming services.<\/p>\n<p>\"Also looking at the macroeconomic condition of the country<br>\nand of the cellular industry itself, we consider it wise to stop<br>\nimplementing the roaming fees,\" he said at a media conference<br>\nhere.<\/p>\n<p>A roaming fee is usually charged for calls made or received<br>\nfrom outside the home area of the subscriber identity module<br>\n(SIM) card.<\/p>\n<p>Putranto explained that the company maintained its \"Xtra large<br>\nzone\" tariff structure introduced in April.
