Recently, I passed the Bogor administration's office in
\nCibinong. I noticed that a number of workers were busy building
\nan entry gate for the office complex. Judging from the material
\nthey were using, I am sure the construction costs a great deal.
\nIt is indeed magnificent, and I would tip my hat to the Bogor
\ngovernment.<\/p>\n
However, it seems to me that the Bogor administration is
\nbuilding such a luxurious monument, while on the other hand, it
\nis quite neglectful of the roads that are seriously damaged. The
\npeople badly need good roads, and certainly not the spectacular
\ngate. For example, the road that stretches from Depok Lama to
\nCilebut is seriously damaged, which presents great problems to
\npassing vehicles. If any repair work is done at all, the repaired
\nareas never last more than a few weeks. The condition of the road
\nwill become even worse during the rainy season.<\/p>\n
In fact, public transportation vehicles pay a certain fee for
\nusing that particular road. Can't the Bogor administration use
\nthe funds for road repair? Otherwise, what is the money being
\ncollected for?<\/p>\n
