        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 Drivers passing through the Jakarta\u2013Cikampek Toll Road\ntowards Cikampek should take note of the traffic arrangement in effect\nsince Friday morning (8\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), together with the police, is\nimplementing contraflow as a precautionary measure against vehicle\ndensity while supporting the ongoing road maintenance work on that\nsection.<\/p>\n<p>The contraflow traffic arrangement is applied from KM 23 to KM 28\ntowards Cikampek starting at 06:56 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>VP Corporate Secretary &amp; Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria\nMarlinda Paallo, stated that the contraflow is enforced to keep the\ndistribution of vehicle flow smooth, especially while road maintenance\nwork is still underway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe implementation of contraflow is a form of traffic engineering\ncarried out to support the smooth flow of vehicles while facilitating\nthe road maintenance work on the Jakarta\u2013Cikampek Toll Road section,\nwhich is currently ongoing,\u201d said Ria in an official statement on Friday\n(8\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on the evaluation of traffic conditions and the progress of\nwork on the ground since yesterday, the contraflow traffic arrangement\nis once again enforced earlier today as an anticipatory step to maintain\nsmooth vehicle flow distribution from the morning,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>During the traffic arrangement, road users are urged to remain\ncautious when passing through the contraflow area.<\/p>\n<p>JTT stated that it continues to monitor traffic conditions via CCTV\nand has deployed personnel on the ground to ensure the traffic\narrangement runs optimally without neglecting the safety aspect for road\nusers.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, evaluations of traffic conditions and the progress of\nroad maintenance work will be conducted periodically.
