        "content": "<p>Road damaged by heavy trucks<\/p>\n<p>BEKASI: The seven-kilometer road leading to Villa Bekasi Indah<br>\nin Jejalen village, Tambun district, Bekasi, is badly damaged due<br>\nto faulty drainage and heavy trucks that routinely pass over it,<br>\nresidents said.<\/p>\n<p>Even worse, during the rainy season, the road becomes flooded,<br>\nwhich only worsens the already-battered condition of the street,<br>\nAntara reported.<\/p>\n<p>The road can only support a maximum load of five tons, yet it<br>\nis routinely used by trucks carrying loads of no less than 12<br>\ntons.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the public outcry, Bekasi deputy regent Dimyati<br>\nSyafruddin promised to coordinate with the local public works<br>\nagency to restore the road.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;By next year at the latest, the road will have been<br>\nrestored,&quot; Dimyati said, adding that local residents should warn<br>\ntruck drivers about their loads when passing the road.-JP<\/p>",
