        "content": "<p>Rizal Ramli reported to police<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Former company president of state-owned general<br>\ninsurance firm PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) Amiruddin<br>\nRiayat filed a defamation complaint on Saturday against Minister<br>\nof Finance Rizal Ramli.<\/p>\n<p>A police report faxed to The Jakarta Post on Sunday stated<br>\nthat Amiruddin had filed the complaint, based on what Rizal had<br>\nsaid against the former management of PT Jasindo in a hearing<br>\nwith the House of Representatives&apos; Commission IX for banking and<br>\nfinance on July 5.<\/p>\n<p>Citing a report at Koran Tempo daily, Amiruddin said Rizal had<br>\nmade some baseless accusations against Jasindo&apos;s old management.<\/p>\n<p>According to the daily&apos;s report dated on July 6, Rizal gave<br>\nhis reasons at the hearing into the replacement of Jasindo&apos;s<br>\nmanagement, one of which was &quot;the misuse of authority&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Those who were replaced included Amiruddin.<\/p>\n<p>Brig. K. Kurniawan, an officer at the City Police who took<br>\ndown Amiruddin&apos;s report, confirmed the case to The Jakarta Post<br>\nand said that Amiruddin had filed the police report on Saturday.<br>\n(ylt)<\/p>",
