Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar, one of the suspects in the case alleging\nthat the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo\n(Jokowi), holds a forged diploma, has filed for restorative justice (RJ)\nin the matter. The RJ application letter was submitted last week.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo a few days ago or about a week ago, the individual in question,\nRismon Hasiholan Sianipar, together with his legal counsel, submitted a\nrequest for restorative justice facilitation to the investigators,\u201d said\nKombes Iman Imannudin, Head of Criminal Investigation at Metro Jaya\nPolice, to reporters on Wednesday (11 March 2026).<\/p>\n
Iman stated that Rismon visited Metro Jaya Police headquarters today\nto inquire about the progress of the matter. Metro Jaya Police\ninvestigators are currently processing the RJ application submitted by\nRismon.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday, Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar with his lawyer came to us to\ninquire about the progress of the RJ request that was submitted by the\nsuspect of his own volition,\u201d said Iman.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe, as the facilitator, the investigators have already taken steps\nand are continuing to take steps to facilitate the request submitted by\nsuspect Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
For context, Metro Jaya Police had previously issued a letter\nordering the cessation of investigation (SP3) against two suspects in\nthe case alleging a false diploma held by the 7th President of the\nRepublic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi): Eggi Sudjana and Damai Hari\nLubis. Prior to issuing the SP3, Eggi Sudjana and Damai Hari Lubis met\nwith Jokowi in Solo.<\/p>\n
In total, eight individuals have been named as suspects in this case,\nincluding Roy Suryo. Police continue to investigate the matter and are\nconducting a special case conference.<\/p>\n
On 8 January 2026, Eggi Sudjana and Damai Hari Lubis visited Jokowi\u2019s\nresidence in Solo. After their meeting, Jokowi expressed his hope that\ntheir cases would be resolved through restorative justice (RJ).<\/p>\n
Eggi Sudjana and Damai Hari Lubis subsequently filed an RJ request\nwith the police. The police then processed the request, ultimately\ndeciding to halt their cases.<\/p>\n
As a result, the case now involves only six remaining suspects. The\nfirst cluster consists of three suspects: Kurnia Tri Rohyani, Rustam\nEffendi, and Muhammad Rizal Fadillah.<\/p>\n
