        "content": "<p>'Riot won't affect migration'<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The ethnic conflict in West Kalimantan has<br>\nnothing to do with the state-sponsored transmigration program, a<br>\nminister said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Transmigration Siswono Yudohusodo said the<br>\nconflict between indigenous Dayaks and migrants from Madura would<br>\nnot affect the resettlement program in any way.<\/p>\n<p>He argued that the conflict, believed to have claimed hundreds<br>\nof lives, involved mostly people from outside transmigration<br>\nsites.<\/p>\n<p>A resettlement unit in West Kalimantan and elsewhere always<br>\nconsists of people from several provinces, including indigenous<br>\npeople.<\/p>\n<p>\"All units are occupied by resettlers from Madura, Java, Bali<br>\nand Flores and Dayaks.
