        "content": "<p>Rights violations in Jepara<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG: The National Commission on Human Rights plan another<br>\ninvestigation into the alleged violation of human rights during<br>\nelection campaigns in Jepara last month.<\/p>\n<p>Commission member Muladi said yesterday the first probe<br>\nconducted in Jepara on May 30 was not adequate enough to draw<br>\nconclusions and make recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>The commission sent a fact-finding team to Jepara following<br>\nreports that security officers mistreated and illegally detained<br>\n23 United Development Party (PPP) supporters.<\/p>\n<p>Muladi said he planned another investigation that would focus<br>\non the alleged mistreatment, arrest without warrant and illegal<br>\ndetention of the PPP supporters.<\/p>\n<p>He said PPP supporters also violated human rights when they<br>\nassaulted Corporal Harwanto during the street rallies.
