Bulog's Chief has<br>\nassured that rice stock is sufficient, so why this shortage?<\/p>\n<p>It seems that reports on drought have lured the speculators to<br>\npile up rice for future sale, as they predict there will be a<br>\nlong spell of drought this year.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever the cause of the rice scarcity is the public will<br>\nsuffer the consequences.
