The number of rice food aid recipients in Dompu Regency, West Nusa\nTenggara, for the July-September 2026 allocation has reached 36,572 Food\nAid Recipients (PBP), an increase of 60.6 percent compared with\ndistribution in 2025, which recorded 22,773 family heads (KK).<\/p>\n
Acting Head of the Dompu Regency Food Security Agency Mauludin said\nthe increase in recipients was the result of updating beneficiary data\nthrough the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN).<\/p>\n
\u201cThis increase in recipients is not a unilateral addition from the\nregion, but the result of data verification and validation carried out\nby the Ministry of Social Affairs together with the National Food\nAgency. So families that were previously not in the data are now\nrecorded and entitled to receive assistance,\u201d he said when confirmed by\nANTARA in Dompu on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Based on a letter from Perum Bulog Bima Branch Office Number\nB-31\/23020\/08\/2026, the distribution of rice food aid for the\nJuly-September 2026 period in Dompu Regency covers 36,572 PBP with a\ntotal allocation of 1,097,160 kilograms of rice.<\/p>\n
The distribution is scheduled to take place on 24-29 August 2026 in\neight sub-districts in Dompu Regency.<\/p>\n
The number of recipients in 2026 increased by 13,799 compared with\nthe distribution record in 2025, which reached 22,773 family heads. In\nnumerical terms, the increase is equivalent to 60.6 percent.<\/p>\n
In the 2025 distribution, assistance was provided for a two-month\nallocation, namely June-July, with a total of 20 kilograms of rice per\nfamily head. Meanwhile, in 2026, the assistance covers a three-month\nallocation, namely July-September, with each recipient receiving 10\nkilograms of rice per month, or a total of 30 kilograms.<\/p>\n
With the increase in the number of recipients and the allocation\nperiod, the total rice distributed in 2026 reached 1,097.16 tonnes.<\/p>\n
Mauludin said the distribution of food aid is expected to help meet\nthe food needs of beneficiary communities.<\/p>\n
The regional government, he said, has coordinated with all\nsub-district heads and relevant officers to ensure rice distribution\nproceeds in an orderly manner according to the schedule set by Perum\nBulog Bima Branch Office.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have coordinated with all sub-district heads and officers in\neight sub-districts so that distribution runs in an orderly manner. We\nurge beneficiary residents to attend according to the schedule in their\nrespective sub-districts by bringing the required identity documents,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
He stressed that the Dompu Regency Food Security Agency will oversee\nthe distribution process until all assistance is distributed and will\nreport the realisation of distribution to Bulog and the National Food\nAgency.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Head of Perum Bulog Bima Branch Office Alfan Ghazali in\nhis letter requested support from the Dompu Regency Food Security Agency\nto ensure the distribution of food aid for the July-September 2026\nallocation runs smoothly throughout the Dompu Regency area.<\/p>\n
