        "content": "<p>RI to launch microcar<\/p>\n<p>BANDUNG, West Java: State-owned aircraft manufacturer P.T.<br>\nDirgantara Indonesia announced on Wednesday that it would launch<br>\na microcar, to be known as the Gang Car, this year.<\/p>\n<p>The Gang Car project manager, Rachmat Junaedi, said that the<br>\ncompany had secured a license from the government to produce the<br>\nmini car, which will have the capacity to carry two persons.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the car would come on the market by the end of<br>\nthe year at the latest. The microcar, which uses a 125cc to 250<br>\ncc engine is designed to cope with overcrowded roads in big<br>\ncities and appeal to people from the middle class.<\/p>\n<p>Rachmat said that the car, which would be made of fiberglass,<br>\nconsumed only one liter for 40 kilometers and could travel at a<br>\nmaximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour.<\/p>\n<p>The car is 1.1 meters in height and will be sold for Rp 20<br>\nmillion per unit. --JP<\/p>",
