        "content": "<p>RI to host banking meet<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia will host the fifth biennial<br>\nconference of the Asian and Pacific Association of Banking<br>\nInstitutes in Bali this week.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian Bankers Institute (IBI), the host of the four-<br>\nday conference, said over the weekend Bank Indonesia (Central<br>\nBank) Governor J. Soedradjad Djiwandono is scheduled to open the<br>\nmeeting at the Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur.<\/p>\n<p>Banking executives from 18 countries are expected to take part<br>\nin the conference, called \"the Economic Prospect for the Asia-<br>\nPacific Rim from 1995 to 2000.\"<\/p>\n<p>Speakers at the meeting will include Rachmat Saleh, a former<br>\nBank Indonesia governor, now vice chairman of IBI's National<br>\nCouncil.
