        "content": "<p>RI to file complaint at WTO<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Polyester Fiber Producers will<br>\nfile a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) against<br>\nantidumping measures imposed on their products by the European<br>\nCommission.<\/p>\n<p>The association of the Indonesian Synthetic Fibermakers<br>\n(APSyFI) said in a statement on Monday that its members and the<br>\ndirector general of international trade industries were still<br>\npreparing the Indonesian submission for the Council of Trade in<br>\nGoods\/Committee on Antidumping Practices of the WTO.<\/p>\n<p>Early this month, the general council of the European<br>\nCommission imposed antidumping duties of between 8.4 percent and<br>\n15.8 percent against Indonesian polyester staple fiber producers.<\/p>\n<p>The government of Turkey has also imposed antidumping duties<br>\nof between 6.2 percent and 37.4 percent against Indonesian<br>\nsynthetic fibermakers, who have never exported to the country.<\/p>\n<p>The association said it requested informal bilateral<br>\nnegotiation with Turkey to settle the problem. The negotiation is<br>\nscheduled to be held in September, it said. (hen)<\/p>",
