RI spikers win silver, bronze<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian men's beach volleyball team of
\nMarkodji and Irilkhun Shofanna finished second at the Asian
\nCircuit championships in China from Aug. 17 to Aug. 21, while the
\nwomen's team of Bertha Kaize and Agustina took third place.<\/p>\n
On the men's side, New Zealanders Craig Seu Seu and Lefu won
\nthe gold medal while Australians Pat Gulline and Sound Blackman
\nfinished third.<\/p>\n
In the women's competition, the Chinese team of Lan Hong and
\nFu Lingli defeated compatriots Li Min and Dong Na to win the
\ngold.<\/p>\n
The Indonesian Volleyball Association official in charge of
\nforeign competition, Ahmed Solihin, said the association was
\nsatisfied with the results, adding the championships would serve
\nas an evaluation as athletes prepared for the 2001 Southeast
