RI soccer team joins Super Cup<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia has agreed to take part in the
\nMillennium Super Soccer Cup in India from Jan. 10 to Jan. 25. The
\nSoccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI) has confirmed its
\nparticipation to the All India Football Federation (AIFF) last
\nweek.<\/p>\n
PSSI spokesman Eddi Elison said that the tournament will be
\nattended by 15 teams from all over the world such as Bahrain,
\nCameroon, Colombia, Chile, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Jordan,
\nJamaica, New Zealand, Qatar, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay,
\nUzbekistan and Yugoslavia.<\/p>\n
All of the teams, including host India, are divided into four
\ngroups. Group A and Group B will compete in Calcutta, Group C in
\nGoa and Group D in Cochin. The winners and runner-ups in each
\ngroup will qualify for the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n
Eddi however said that PSSI had not decided whether it would
\nfield the same national team which is competing in the 2000 Asian
