        "content": "<p>RI musician killed in Amman<\/p>\n<p>Agencies, Jakarta\/Amman<\/p>\n<p>An Indonesian jazz musician was among the 57 people killed in the<br>\ntriple bombings of Western-owned hotels in the Jordanian capital<br>\nof Amman, while two other Indonesian musicians were among the<br>\nmore than 100 injured.<\/p>\n<p>An official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on<br>\nThursday that the ministry had received information from the<br>\nIndonesian Embassy in Jordan that three Indonesians were among<br>\nthe victims of the suspected suicide bombings.<\/p>\n<p>Ministry spokesman Yuri Thamrin said that the dead victim was<br>\nidentified as Perri Pattisilano, 55, while two other Indonesians,<br>\nidentified as Harjanto and Pinky, were injured in the blasts and<br>\nwere now being treated in the hospital in Amman.<\/p>\n<p>\"The three Indonesian victims were musicians working at (the Grand<br>\nHyatt) hotel,\" the ministry said in a statement sent to The<br>\nJakarta Post.<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that the ministry had informed the<br>\nvictims' families.<\/p>\n<p>\"We are still discussing the return of Perri's remains with<br>\nhis family,\" Yuri said.<\/p>\n<p>The statement said that Minister Hassan Wirayuda had conveyed<br>\na message of sympathy on behalf of the Indonesian government to<br>\nJordanian Foreign Minister Y.M. Farouk Kasrawi.<\/p>\n<p>Hassan has also ordered the Indonesian Ambassador in Jordan to<br>\nvisit hospitals in Amman to ascertain whether any other<br>\nIndonesian citizens had been affected by the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono condemned the<br>\ndeadly bomb attacks and also urged the global community to<br>\nincrease cooperation in fighting against terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>\"The President on behalf of the Indonesian people expressed his<br>\ndeepest condolences over the tragedy. The President also stressed<br>\nthe need for global solidarity to fight against terrorist<br>\nattacks,\" Dino Patti Djalal, a presidential spokesman, told<br>\nAntara.<\/p>\n<p>In Wednesday night's synchronized attacks, two bombs exploded<br>\nwhile crowds were celebrating weddings, leaving blood and<br>\ndestruction at Amman's luxury Grand Hyatt hotel and the nearby<br>\nRadisson SAS. A third blast targeted a Days Inn hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Al Qaeda in Iraq, led by Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-<br>\nZarqawi, said in a statement on a website that \"a group of our<br>\nbest lions\" had launched the attacks in Jordan.<\/p>\n<p>\"Some hotels were chosen which the Jordanian despot had turned<br>\ninto a backyard for the enemies of the faith, the Jews and<br>\ncrusaders,\" said the message signed by the group's spokesman, as<br>\nquoted by Reuters. Its authenticity could not be verified.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they thought the blasts were the work of suicide<br>\nbombers. Simultaneous attacks are an al-Qaeda hallmark and U.S.<br>\nofficials said they suspected the network was to blame.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan's King Abdullah blamed a \"deviant and misled group\" for<br>\nthe blasts. \"The attacks targeted and killed innocent Jordanian<br>\ncivilians,\" the king, whose country is bordered by Iraq, Syria,<br>\nSaudi Arabia and Israel, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Al Qaeda in Iraq's statement said:\"Let the tyrant of Amman<br>\nknow that his protection...for the Jews has become a target for<br>\nthe mujahideen and their attacks, and let him expect the worst.\"<\/p>\n<p>Jordan is one of two Arab countries that have signed peace<br>\ntreaties with Israel. It helped the United States in the war on<br>\nIraq, where Zarqawi's group is part of an anti-U.S. insurgency.<\/p>",
