RI man charged with lying in U.S.<\/p>\n
PHILADELPHIA: An Indonesian citizen detained after police saw
\nhim taking photographs of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the
\nanniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks has been charged with lying
\nabout where he lived.<\/p>\n
Iman Radito, a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant in New
\nHope, allegedly told investigators he lived in an apartment in
\nQueens, New York, but FBI agents said that he had been living
\nwith restaurant coworkers at an apartment complex in Bucks
\nCounty, and had only stayed for two nights at the Queens address
\nhe gave to investigators.<\/p>\n
Radito, 26, was also charged in a federal court with carrying
\nphony immigration and Social Security cards.<\/p>\n
Radito agreed to plead guilty to all charges at a later date,
\nand is likely to be deported, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors said he entered the country legally on a visa, but
\nfailed to leave when it expired in 1999.<\/p>\n
Police arrested Radito on Sept. 11 after he was seen snapping
\npictures of the bridge near its western anchor on the
\nPhiladelphia waterfront.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors said Radito told investigators he enjoyed taking
\npictures and wanted to attend photography school. His court-
\nappointed attorney, Edson Bostic, said the photos had nothing to
\ndo with terrorism.<\/p>\n
\"Since 9\/11, what would otherwise have been innocent behavior
\nis now highly scrutinized,\" she said. \"He's anxious to put these
