        "content": "<p>RI-Malaysia extradition deal<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP): Malaysia and Indonesia on<br>\nSaturday agreed to consider widening their extradition agreement<br>\nto allow for frequent prisoner exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>Malaysia's minister in the prime minister's department Rais<br>\nYatim was quoted as saying by the national news agency Bernama<br>\nthat officials would review the agreement signed in 1976 to pave<br>\nway for more exchanges, especially on humanitarian grounds.<\/p>\n<p>That would allow prisoners to serve their sentences in their<br>\nown country and enable their relatives to visit them, he told a<br>\nnews conference.<\/p>\n<p>The two sides reached the agreement during a meeting between<br>\nRais and Indonesian Justice Minister Yusril Ihza Mahendra.<\/p>\n<p>\"We can do this within the ASEAN countries on a more<br>\ncomprehensive basis especially between Malaysia and Indonesia,\"<br>\nsaid Rais.<\/p>",
