RI maid's fecal matter abuser flees<\/p>\n
MALAYSIA: A Malaysian woman who allegedly forced her Indonesian
\nmaid to eat fecal matter and drink out of a toilet bowl has gone
\ninto hiding, police said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Police went to the home of the 27-year-old woman after her
\nmaid lodged a report on Sunday claiming that she was punched in
\nthe eye and forced to eat out of the toilet bowl.<\/p>\n
However, the woman and her family had fled the home in the
\nnortheastern Kelantan state, said the head of the criminal
\ninvestigation department, Ishak Abdul Majid.<\/p>\n
"When police arrived, there was no one at home and the nearest
\nneighbors also have no idea where the family went," he was quoted
\nas saying by the official Bernama agency.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old maid claimed that her employer had also
\nsmeared her body with feces during Sunday's incident.<\/p>\n
Ishak said police would try to locate the family, adding that
\nwhile the maid did not sustain serious injuries, she was
\ntraumatized by the attack.<\/p>\n
The incident was announced on the day of a trial against
\nanother Malaysian employer who had allegedly burnt, beaten and
\nscalded her Indonesian maid in May this year. --DPA<\/p>",
