        "content": "<p>RI maid dies in high-rise fall<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Reuters): An Indonesian maid has fallen to her<br>\ndeath while cleaning the windows of her employer's flat in<br>\nSingapore -- the fourth domestic helper to die in a high-rise<br>\nplunge this year.<\/p>\n<p>Kamisah Murdikin plunged 10 stories on Monday after losing her<br>\nbalance as she perched on a ledge, the Straits Times newspaper<br>\nreported on Wednesday. She died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The newspaper said five Indonesian women have tumbled from<br>\ntower blocks this year while doing household chores, with one<br>\nstaging a lucky escape when her fall was broken by the roof of a<br>\ncovered walkway.<\/p>\n<p>At least 28 maids have died in such accidents since 1996, the<br>\npaper said.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore's Manpower Ministry said it was reviewing its<br>\npolicies on managing maids to ensure their safety. The government<br>\nalso offers safety courses for maids.<\/p>",
