        "content": "<p>RI maid charged with murder<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Another Indonesian maid in Singapore is to stand<br>\ntrial for murder.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested the maid, Barokah, 27, for killing her<br>\nSingaporean employer, Wee Keng Wah, 75, in her apartment on Chai<br>\nChee Road last Wednesday following an argument.<\/p>\n<p>Migrant CARE, an Indonesian non-governmental organization<br>\nproviding advocacy for migrant workers, demanded on Monday that<br>\nthe Indonesian government provide lawyers for Barokah and that<br>\nSingaporean authorities investigate the case thoroughly.<\/p>\n<p>\"In previous cases, Indonesian maids committed murder after a<br>\nseries of abuse by their employers,\" Migrant CARE said.<\/p>\n<p>Barokah will appear at the lower court on Thursday for her<br>\nfirst hearing.
