RI invited to join German fair<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): The Association of German Bakery Organizations
\ninvited Indonesian companies here on Thursday to join the
\ninternational trade fair for bakers and confectioners in Munich,
\nin September.<\/p>\n
The association's president Eberhard Groebel said the
\nexhibition would give Indonesian companies the opportunity to
\nknow the latest developments in bakery-related industries.<\/p>\n
\"It will be an exchange forum for the world's baking industry,
\nand Indonesia will receive much of benefit from such an event,\"
\nGroebel told a media conference.<\/p>\n
The fair, more popularly known by its German acronym IBA, is
\nheld once every three years. This year's 2000 will be open from
\nSept 29 until Oct 5, this year.<\/p>\n
Groebel, who is here to promote the expo, said the exhibition
\nwould also present production machinery and equipment for bread
\nmaking, raw ingredients and materials, cafe and shop furnishings
\nand fittings, packaging machinery and marketing and services in
\nthe bakery-related business.<\/p>\n
A previous event, which was held in 1998 in Dusseldorf,
\nGerman, drew over 90,000 visitors from 112 countries, mostly from
\nsouthern Germany, America and countries neighboring Germany.(07)<\/p>",
