        "content": "<p>RI firm signs oil deal<\/p>\n<p>RANGOON (DPA): The Indonesian company PT Exspan Sumatera Oil<br>\nhas agreed to explore and extract oil and natural gas at three<br>\nonshore blocks in central Myanmar, government-run media reported<br>\nyesterday.<\/p>\n<p>A production-sharing contract was signed Monday at the<br>\nMinistry of Energy in Rangoon by representatives of the<br>\nIndonesian company and the Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE).<\/p>\n<p>Myanmar's Minister of Energy U Khin Maung Thein presented a<br>\npermit to conduct the exploration to John S. Karamoy, president<br>\nof the Indonesian company.<\/p>\n<p>The signing ceremony also was attended by MOGE Managing<br>\nDirector Kyaw Nyein, Secretary of the Myanmar Investment<br>\nCommission Brigadier- General Maung Maung, other ministers and<br>\nthe Indonesian ambassador to Burma, Police Major-General A.<br>\nPoerwanto Lenggono.<\/p>",
