        "content": "<p>RI eases immigration rules<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Ministry of Justice has issued a decree to<br>\nallow visitors to enter Indonesia without a visa through five<br>\nairports and 12 seaports, an official said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Director General of Immigration M. Mudakir said in a statement<br>\nthat the decree issued on June 22 aimed at luring more visitors<br>\ninto the country.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors who enter the country through the airports and<br>\nseaports under the so-called Visa Free Brief Visit program may<br>\nstay in the country for a maximum two months for traveling,<br>\nconvention and business talks, Mudakir said.<\/p>\n<p>The five airports are Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Sultan<br>\nMahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Adi Sucipto (Yogyakarta),<br>\nJuwata (Tarakan, East Kalimantan), Morpah (Merauke, Irian Jaya).<\/p>\n<p>The 12 seaports are Kuala Langsa (Langsa, Aceh), Sabang<br>\n(Sabang, Aceh), Pekanbaru (Pekanbaru, Riau), Bengkalis<br>\n(Bengkalis, Riau), Tarempa (Tarempa, Riau), Sungai Guntung and<br>\nKuala Elok (Tembilahan, Riau), Teluk Bayur (Padang, West<br>\nSumatra), Sampit (Sampit, Central Kalimantan), Malundung<br>\n(Tarakan, East Kalimantan), Nunukan (Nunukan, East Kalimantan).<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the issuance of the decree, the government had opened<br>\ntens of airports and seaports cross the country as entry points<br>\nfor visitors without visas.<\/p>\n<p>Thus far, the government has made the visa-free program<br>\navailable for visitors from 48 countries.(jsk)<\/p>",
