        "content": "<p>RI-China motorbikes<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Manunggal Otomotif and its Chinese partner,<br>\nChina Qingqi Motorcycle Group General Co., have agreed to<br>\nestablish a joint venture to produce motorbikes with an<br>\nIndonesian brand name.<\/p>\n<p>Manunggal Otomotif president Samuel S. Tarman was quoted by<br>\nAntara as saying the joint venture, likely to be named PT<br>\nManunggal Qingqi Internasional, would start production next July<br>\nwith an investment of US$10 million.<\/p>\n<p>Manunggal Otomotif and its Chinese partner would have an equal<br>\nshare in the venture, Samuel said.<\/p>\n<p>He said his company had not yet come up with a brand-name for<br>\nthe motorbike, nor had it gained a permit from the Ministry of<br>\nIndustry and Trade.<\/p>\n<p>Samuel said about 30,000 motorbikes a year would be produced<br>\nat Manunggal Otomotif's plant in Cibitung, West Java.
